Patrice’s Kids Ready to Spread Holiday Cheer to Kids This Sunday!

Patrice’s Kids and SPAR Houston Boxing Gym are preparing for their Second Annual Toy Giveaway this Sunday, where they expect over 100 kids in foster care.

This year’s toy drive was a challenge. “But friends stepped in to help and we did what we had to do. I’m thankful that all the kids will receive toys.,” said Patrice Griffin, founder of Patrice’s Kids.

Good friend Nicole Jefferson of Our Legends Cigar Bar told comedian and entertainer, Thomas Miles, about Patrice’s Kids. Famously known as Nephew Tommy, the Houston native contacted Patrice and enthusiastically told her he would help. 

Nephew Tommy went to Target and bought 25 bikes for the toy drive. He had the store assemble the bikes and even had them delivered to Our Legends Cigar Bar. 

Partnering again with Patrice’s Kids is Sole Loved, a non-profit shoe charity. Founder Stacy Bourgeois is donating 100 pairs of brand new sneakers. Each child at Sunday’s event will receive a pair of shoes!

Sammy Veal and Mario Brothers Foundation donated toys and the SPAR Houston Boxing Gym staff will volunteer on Sunday.

Sunday’s Toy Giveaway will feature singer Donnie Fresh, games, music, photos, and fun!
